Role Overview
As a senior contributor, you’ll play a key role in the team’s day-to-day engineering work. Typical responsibilities for a QA / Test Engineer at the senior level include:
- design and execute test plans, automated test suites, and regression testing strategies
- identify, document, and track defects through resolution in partnership with engineering
- build and maintain test automation frameworks to improve coverage and release confidence
- partner with development teams to embed quality practices earlier in the development cycle
Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll be expected to communicate clearly with teammates and stakeholders, document your work so others can build on it, and continuously look for ways to improve how the team ships software.
Requirements & Qualifications
This is a senior role, so candidates should bring deep, demonstrated expertise:
- experience designing and executing manual and automated test plans
- familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI-integrated testing
- strong attention to detail and a structured approach to defect tracking
- ability to collaborate closely with engineering to improve overall product quality

Location & Work Setup
This role is based in United States. This is a hybrid position, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week. As with any hybrid role, expect regular collaboration with teammates through a mix of synchronous meetings and asynchronous updates, so strong written and verbal communication matters as much as technical skill.
