Role Overview
As a senior contributor, you’ll play a key role in the team’s day-to-day engineering work. Typical responsibilities for a Platform & Data Engineer at the senior level include:
- design, build, and maintain the platforms and data pipelines other engineering teams rely on
- ensure the reliability, scalability, and observability of core platform and data services
- partner with internal stakeholders to understand data and platform needs and prioritize accordingly
- improve tooling and automation to make other engineers more productive
Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll be expected to communicate clearly with teammates and stakeholders, document your work so others can build on it, and continuously look for ways to improve how the team ships software.
Requirements & Qualifications
This is a senior role, so candidates should bring deep, demonstrated expertise:
- experience building and operating scalable platform or data infrastructure
- strong understanding of distributed systems, pipelines, and reliability practices
- comfort working with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code
- a service mindset toward the internal teams your platform supports

Location & Work Setup
This role is based in United States. This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from home while staying connected with a distributed team through regular check-ins and collaborative tools.
